Wolfeboro
Mirror Lake
A place to settle for the next few days. it’s beautiful and tranquil. I love the peacefulness of this area of our country. The land, space, color, weather..it forces one to slow down and pay attention. There is so much to appreciate in this way of living.
I used to come here in college and later when my children were young. We were forced to entertain ourselves without the conveniences of everyday life. We enjoyed each other’s company, we read, and watched clouds. We kept a continuous game of scrabble going and hiked and swam and freed ourselves from the world of have-tos.
I am glad to have this time now.
That first photo in particular is stunning. Looks like a good place to breathe and be still.
