It’s hard to see, but if you look close, there’s a cemetery, a very small one, under the tree on the right. Just a handful of headstones, a few bodies laid to rest, their sold granted this everlasting view.
Its been raining all day. The weather here is exactly what it is back in Portland, 2000 miles away. It’s spring, I wasn’t expecting any different.

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents.
