back in Wonalancet
I took the boys and headed out for the grandparents’ house in Wonalancet. As usual, Granny had made a feast and we ate a lovely lunch on the screened porch. It was very nice to catch up. I brought Luka too; she had a hard time accepting the “no dogs inside” rule, but eventually settled in. And when another dog showed up, she was happy to have company.
After lunch we headed out to the potholes, a favorite Tamworth swimming hole..but again, no dogs allowed here either. Luka did a great job staying in the car. The boys had fun and I even dipped in up to my shoulders.
It’s a very rainy Wednesday morning now, and my son heads back to San Francisco to his new life there…everyone is growing older.
